Papyrus, designed by Chris Costello, in 1982, has become an extremely popular typeface with nearly any business looking to give the appearance of antiquity, quaintness, eco-friendliness, greenness, organic-ness, and many other ness-es. Recently, it’s been cropping up more and more.
It is often seen rubber-necking with Comic Sans, and is synonymous with yoga, granola, and lazy design.
This is an attempt to monitor this font, before it replaces Arial, Times New Roman, and Calibri as an acceptable typeface for conducting business.
